About MonitorWare Agent
=======================

MonitorWare Agent is Adiscon's full Windows monitoring and log-processing
product. It combines Windows Event Log collection, syslog and SETP reception,
file and service monitoring, active probes, local filtering, and flexible
forwarding and storage actions in one background service.

Inside the product, collected or received data enters through configured
**services**. In plain language, you can read those services as the configured
inputs and generators that feed events into rulesets and actions.
