MonitorWare Agent 26.10 is the latest monthly Patch + Feature Drop. It adds durable Azure Blob archiving, a File action filename preview, and maintenance for OpenSSL and the configuration interface.

Archive events in Azure Blob storage

The new Azure Blob Archive action stores events as immutable gzip-compressed NDJSON segments in Azure Blob storage, keeps a local spool until the upload succeeds, and authenticates with Managed Identity or a SAS token file. The action is available in the Configuration Client and in the User Interface. An empty blob prefix is saved as the default prefix.

Preview the file name before it is written

The File action in the User Interface now shows a preview of the resolved output filename, so you can confirm the path before the service writes the file.

Safer configuration editing and updated OpenSSL

The User Interface validates Workbench edits before saving and restores the previous document if a save fails. Unsaved changes are kept in view when you leave, reload, switch the configuration source, or restart. Rule moves, remote-target protection, configuration-tree navigation, and debug-log follow are corrected, and the empty Advanced page is removed. Included OpenSSL libraries are updated to 3.5.9.

The User Interface remains in preview. It is available for production use with appropriate care and review; the Configuration Client remains fully supported.

We recommend keeping MonitorWare Agent on the latest Patch + Feature Drop to benefit from current maintenance and product improvements. Your licence remains valid for releases in its calendar year; Upgrade Insurance provides entitlement to later calendar years and their monthly Patch + Feature Drops.
